Kim has always been something of a guide — someone to show people a path to make better lives for themselves. She grew up watching family members and friends work hard yet fall short of happiness. It was important for her to find a way to help people realize the dreams that should come from a lifetime of work.
She started out providing tax guidance, but it would take the untimely death of her childhood friend, Camille Ann Playfair, to cause Kim to find a more meaningful way to make a positive impact. That terrible car accident, following by the death of two of Camille’s children in another accident years later, solidified in Kim just how important it was to be financially prepared for life’s unforeseen challenges. It would become her mission to help her clients do just that.
Kim's holistic approach to financial advice guides successful individuals, families, and businesses through the process of making smart choices about their money. Concerned, sincere and committed to her clients' dreams and goals, Kim holds her clients and her team accountable to make thoughtful decisions to manage, preserve, and distribute wealth.
Together, she and her team implement comprehensive financial plans that align with client’s most important goals and deeply held values. She holds the following licenses and designations: Securities Licenses 6, 63 and 7, Notary, Life and Health, CFP®, CPA, EA, and CES.
Kim is also a devoted wife and mother of three children. In their faith, she and her husband have found a compass for life. A swimmer and tennis player, Kim enjoys chasing sunsets at beachfront destinations with good books in tow. As a lifelong Brooklynite, she’s committed to creating opportunity for New Yorkers in need of support and encouragement. She serves on the Board of Girl Scouts Council of Greater New York and the Advisory Board of Earl Mosley's Institute of the Arts. She’s also an Area Director for Toastmasters International but still manages a balanced life and helps her clients do the same.
