An Update On FISH

Covid-19 continues to have us all in a tailspin, but I thought I’d take this opportunity to update everyone on our FISH initiative. The pandemic may have slowed us down, but it can’t stop us!

I recently founded FISH, The Financial Implications of Slavery Heritage, with other black financial professionals across the United States who share similar urban offices where concentrations of black people reside.

Our goal is to act as a conduit to educate our clients on the issue, share tools and resources for narrowing the inequity gap and build awareness of various programs and non-profits focused on helping our community overcome financial hurdles.

We’re on track to launch mid-2021 and we’ve made good progress so far. We’re finalizing the set up of our non-profit organization, refining our mission and partnering with thought leaders and supportive fund companies to help reach our goals.
